In the past decade Oregon has become a world-class wine state, with 15 approved winegrowing regions (AVAs) and more than 300 wineries producing 72 varieties. Our Oregon Wine Trail Experience will take you on a tour of a few of the Willamette Valley's most acclaimed boutique wineries in an intimate and relaxed setting. With EverGreen Escapes the spotlight is on more than just the quality of the wine.

On this half day exploration your naturalist guide will enlighten you with the rich ecology of the region, while at each stop will dig a little deeper to explore the local winemaking history, the fine art of viticulture and Oregon’s commitment to sustainable farming practices.

REX HILL:
You can see the original tunnels which carted drying racks years ago, but you'll also see the all the latest winemaking tools: French oak and stainless steel barrels, wine presses, an in-house laboratory and bottling line, temperature controlled fermentation and blending tanks, and a state of the art cross-flow filter.
Sokol Blosser:
winemaker Russ Rosner draws on more than ten years experience at Robert Mondavi Winery to realize a PInot Noir single block program highlighting the distinctiveness of barrels from different blocks of estate grown grapes. Sokol Blosser is committed to managing their vineyards and business in an environmentally responsible way, and has the prestige of being the nation's first winery to be awarded the LEED 2.0 Silver Level Certification by the US Green Building Council.
Argyle Winery:
Prospecting the New World's coolest latitudes, Brian Croser and Rollin Soles staked a claim in Oregon's Willamette Valley, a place ideal for late ripening Pinot Noir and Chardonnay fruit. Since 1987, Argyle Winery has produced world-class Methode Champenoise Sparkling wine, barrel fermented Chardonnay and 'silky' textured Pinot Noir from low yielding vines on estate farmed hillside slopes. Argyle was named "OREGON'S PREMIER WINERY" by Wine Spectator in 2000.
