Kenzie Tommaney
Growing up in the flat prairies of Texas, Kenzie longed for towering trees and mountains, feeling most at home on family road trips to Colorado. After graduating with a degree in Conservation Biology and Ecology at Arizona State University, she moved to Washington to be closer to the amazing forest ecosystems she had studied in school. She spent two years working in habitat restoration with the Snoqualmie Tribe and Cedar River Watershed, learning about Washington’s diverse environments and working hard to bring disturbed habitats back to natural states that supported salmon spawning, water quality, and cultural resources. Proud tree hugger and fun fact lover, Kenzie now wants to bring her knowledge and passion to the visitors of the beautiful state she calls home. When not guiding, she can be found gardening, paddle boarding, camping, road-tripping, or enjoying Seattle’s art and culture.
