Ben Whong

Ben's wandering spirit plucked him from his Maryland roots and sent him to Cambodia, Maine, Hawai'i, and North Carolina to work everywhere from classrooms to farms and National Parks before he called Cascadia home. An avid educator, Ben hopes to share the region's wonders with travelers from around the world as he deepens his own understanding of the wildlife, history, and ecology that make this place special. When he's not outside, Ben can be found at the climbing gym or caring for his beloved cat, Penelope.
